Bah Humbug: A Sporting Event?
Bah Humbug. It’s not just a Christmas lack-of-spirit anymore! Now it’s an everyday attitude with some people. Some of us just don’t believe in happiness anymore. Not only does the bah humbug bug them but they make sure it bugs everyone around them, too.
I know you’ve fallen victim to a Bah Humbug hit-and-run at least once in your life. To ‘honor’ these brave souls who put everything can into making their day, and yours, as miserable as it can be, we’ll now give a recap of the Bah Humbug Olympics. Here are the most popular games in this global event:
- “Bah Humbug Relay Race” – In the relay race the starting bah humbugger (humbuggerist?) moves as quickly as possible to the first person they can find, where they quickly unload their frustrations of the day as well as their morbid opinions, then leave. The recipient then walks away in a daze, not knowing what hit them while the starting humbugster feels greatly relieved.
- “Bah Humbug Pole Vaulting” – The Pole Vaulter will do everything in their power to top whatever victory you speak of and vault directly over it, stripping away any sense of accomplishment and proving, once again, how grand their ‘moment’ was, whenever that happened to be.
- “Hum Bugger 500″ - This is the grand event for the humbuginator. Unlike the sprint, this event takes finesse in timing and endurance. The Hum Bugger 500 usually takes place at family events, leaving you seeing Oliver the orphan as the lucky one.
The Bah Humbug Olympics come to us year-round, giving us opportunity to experience the festivity of the Bah’s and Humbug’s in every part of our lives!
